Monroe County is holding information sessions to encourage residents to consider foster parenting.

VIRGINIA BEACH The city’s Human Services Department will host an information session for potential foster parents on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The session will be held at the Human Services building at 3432 Virginia Beach Boulevard. A nine-week training class will start on Oct. 26 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The Therapeutic Foster Care program is also looking for parents.
