Nov. 30th Update — WISHBONE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! Visit his blog at ruettiger2paws.blogspot.com to learn all about his life in his new home! Wishbone is currently awaiting adoption in fostercare with the Tallahassee Animal Service Center in Tallahassee, FL. Wishbone is a 3yr old, Bulldog mix. He is completely (and perfectly) housebroken and loves car rides, although he does have to be lifted in and out. He is good with other dogs and creates a very strong bond with his main human caretaker. Wishbone’s fostermom has outlined a few preferences for his perfect forever home: Willingness and commitment to make Wishbone a Comfort Therapy dog! Availability for plenty of quality time Unending love yet firm guidance to continue good behavior Ability and finances to care for the physical and medical needs of a handicapped dog. Stairs are very difficult, therefore the fewer stairs in home the better. Preferred home will not have more than one other dog to provide companionship, cats and small pets okay in non-excessive amounts, older, gentle children okay. Home visit should be expected and welcomed!

From Natural Conception to Adoption—Having a Child Your Way
]]>
For anyone, the road to parenthood can be emotional, complicated, overwhelming, and exciting. With so many options along to way to becoming a parent, it is hard to know what’s right for you. Realizing that nature may have its own plan for you is an important part of accepting the way that you will become a parent. From natural conception to adoption, there are options that make it possible for anyone who chooses to enter the world of parenthood to do just that.Â
Natural conception is the way most couples seek to become parents. There are many ways to maximize the chances that you will be able to get pregnant naturally. It is important to understand your cycle and know when you ovulate. Getting an ovulation calendar is a common way to monitor this process, which in turn increases the chances that you will successfully conceive a child. There are also a good many options available to check your own and your spouse’s fertility in the conception process. Understanding that it may take time to conceive is a good way to avoid the frustration that befalls some couples during this process. As you keep good track of ovulation on your calendar and follow your doctor’s advice, you should come to find success.
For some, the process of natural conception just is not possible. From infertile couples to same-sex couples to single men and women who wish to become parents, there are many reasons people seek to adopt. Some couples that have been able to conceive naturally still choose to adopt more children. Whatever brings you to the decision to adopt, it can be a lengthy process. There is much paperwork involved and there can be a long waiting period for a child. Most people wish to adopt newborns, but there are many older children that need to find homes as well. Couples who choose to adopt an older child might find the wait much shorter and get to experience the joys of parenthood even sooner.
As you go down the path to parenthood, understanding the many ins and outs and complications along the way can help. From ovulation to ovulation calendars to adoption, there is much to learn in the process of becoming a parent. It is not as easy as just deciding you are ready. Getting as much information as you can access is a good way to eliminate much frustration along the way.

The Truth About Orphan Adoption
Orphan adoption is a very complicated decision to make. It is very difficult to raise a child who is not yours biologically. It is somewhat odd for both parents to decide whether to adopt or not but most parents resort to adoption to keep the marriage intact. Some might think that parents who adopt are not secure with the relationship they have and the adoption process might throw the relationship out of balance. Well, just a trivia, a huge percentage of parents adopt every year, and yet they fe

Joe followed her silently, listening to the click of her heels. He watched her turn into an alley. His eyebrow pulled together as he wondered what a beautiful girl like would be doing in an alley. He stayed out the alley but kept his eyes on her. He gasped; she had bought drugs. It was the only thing Joi could resort to. She knew th dangers of drugs and how it would effect her but obviously she wasn’t thinking straight. She took the little baggy, a little embarrassed, and turned away. Joe moved away a little and watched as Joi exited the alley way. Once she was out, Joe angrily grabbed hold of her arm. Joi was startled and out of reflex, she slapped him hard. Joe staggered back a little but gained his balance again and looked back up. When he did, he saw Joi running. He sprinted after her, but she was seriously fast to be in heels. He wondered how fast she was in gym shoes and if she’d go out for the track team. Joi could hear his footsteps and wondered what this guy who was following her could possibly want so much. Needless to say, she had no idea it was Joe. Joe eventually caught up and forced her gently to the ground, laying on top of her. Joi struggled, trying to get away. Joe pinned her in less than 10 seconds and Joi had no choice but to look at him and she realized it was Joe. She breathed a sigh of relief. “Are you crazy?” Joe blurted, very angry that she would mess up her perfect body. Why?! Why, would someone like Joi, do this to herself, purposely? “Are YOU …

A conference for deaf-mutes in the Vatican
December 30, 2010 by Adoption Information and Laws

Â
Meet Father Cyrill Axelrod. He is one of only 13 deaf-mute priests in the world and he came to Rome for a conference at the Vatican on the deaf-mute community around the word. Hes travelled all over the world to educate other deaf-mutes at conferences like this one. His commitment to helping others speaks volumes about his dedication in spite of his handicap. Father Axelrod is also blind. Rev. Cyrill Axelrod Deaf-mute priest Its very important for me to be here because firstly, its an opportunity to communicate with Church leaders and to tell them about deaf and have them know about our culture. The second reason is to encourage everybody, the deaf and hard of hearing priests—because of their difficulties in their lives, to encourage them and give them hope and patience so they can continue their pastoral work to the deaf. The three day conference focused on the care of deaf-mutes in the Church, that included pastoral care and attention to deaf-mute faithful. Rev. David Lovitt Malloy Deaf-mute Priest We thought it was important to build the relationship between the Church and the deaf. David Lovitt Malloy is another one of the 13 deaf-mute priests in the world that uses sign language to celebrate Mass. Rev. David Lovitt Malloy Deaf-mute Priest We use an interpreter. When I teach deaf people about communion, Mass, baptism, weddings, I teach them and we use an interpreter or I use sign language. Its very important that we do this. Mons. Zygmunt Zimowski President …
