Thank you so much for posting this. I’ve been thinking about this alot today. My family has done foster care almost my whole life…and my mom and dad has dedicated so much of their life to help foster children and help change their life. We have adopted two foster children who were born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and I know personally, it has changed my life…and I know theirs also. Thank you!
Usually your videos make me laugh but I almost started cryinng while watching this. I am/was in foster care and I just recently started college and it made me realize everything that I had overcome to get here. And also all the people that have helped me over the years. Thank you for getting the word out. People need to know that it’s not our faults we’re in these situations.
this is a great video. I was at the state leadership conf. in Lincoln when you spoke. I have had many great friends that were in foster care. they are amazing people and you are living proof they are just as good if not better than others.
