Walter’s orphanage – the only home he’s ever known – also needs funds desperately. Upon overhearing Walter’s predicament, Eddie convinces the no-nonsense head nun, Sister Francesca, that Walter can win the money as a fighter and pay off the church’s debts. Eddie’s plan: travel from town to town with Walter and enter small, unsanctioned fighting competitions for prize money Sister Francesca dispatches Mary as a chaperone for both Walter and the money and gives Eddie a week – and a prayer – to make it happen. During their journey across the south to the annual Pro-Am MMA tournament in New Orleans, Walter discovers what life is like outside the orphanage, while Eddie becomes morally conflicted over whether to take all the loot for himself or keep his promise to Walter, the one person he can actually call a friend.

Detective Kim (Park Yong-woo) is a relaxed and lazy cop, who approaches things his way and always in a calm manner. His cynicism doesn’t go well with his colleagues, but that’s nothing he is concerned about. A series of murders on little girls who are all from the same orphanage, is his sole focus of interest. A suspect is soon found: photographer Ryoo Jeong-ho (Kim Sang-kyung). Kim already met Ryoo on several occasions and even though the photographer prevented two crimes from happening, something just seems to be odd about him… Jeong-ho, who has to struggle with his past, has to take care of little Soo-yeon (Han Bo-bae) for his uncle. Kim finds out, that Soo-yeon grew up in the same orphanage as all the other victims, and so he keeps a close eye on her. However, soon he discovers that the photographer can’t be the culprit. Moreover, Detective Kim finds out that Jeong-ho seems to be able to see things others miss. The former “enemies” work together to protect little Soo-yeon, with whom Jeong-ho meanwhile shares a close father-daughter relationship, despite his initial emotionlessness towards her. But can the them of Kim and Ryoo catch the killer before he strikes again?

Seems kind of silly but Show has always been a pretty charming guy. If anything is gonna make this movie watchable it’s gonna Paul Wight and his giant sense of humor…. Oh yeah that was a pun.

This is WoW movie! Very simple story, but totaly different acting, action, fear factor… In my opinion, I think this is a perfectly acceptable romantic comedy. Great story that came up with the idea of friends with benefits

Got to say, this has been one of the best Korean movies so far, the story itself, love, funny, sadness, joy, etc all combined together and most of all his secret, i would never guess he was deaf, very original and emotional.

@missrossey Well, his dad sexually assaulted her so I think she was afraid that he was going to do the same to the baby … I’m not sure if the baby is hers though :S

@flowerlexi She’s disgusted that he can read into people’s mind. She’s the girl that confessed how her stepfather is sexually harassing her. So on the school rooftop when she was telling him about her stepfather, a few other students are eavesdropping so she decided to commit suicide.
