American Green Media teams up with United for a Sustainable America to provide and document Sustainable Redevelopment in Haiti. In January 2011 New Life Children’s Orphanage and Rescue Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti will host sustainable economic development nonprofit United for a Sustainable America (USA), media production company American Green (AG), and International Engineering and Design Firm PBS&J. The Orphanage will serve as a staging ground to test and showcase culturally appropriate sustainable technologies like solar energy, composting toilets, solar food cookers, hand water pumps, and UV water filtration systems. New Life Children’s Home founder Miriam Frederick has worked in Haiti for over 20 years. “We currently house around one hundred and fifty children, but there are many more who are suffering that need our help,” Mrs. Frederick explains, “To become more self-sufficient—to potentially create our own energy—that’s the difference between light for a day versus light for a couple hours. It’s light for kids at school…it’s light for doctors saving lives.” Lead engineering team PBS&J will conduct a baseline study of the Orphanage’s current commodity use with a special focus on water, energy and waste treatment. After the analysis is complete, sustainable systems will be developed, installed, and tested in real life scenarios at the Orphanage. For a young girl living a “hard knock life” in a children’s orphanage, things may seem pretty bad — especially at Christmas. But feisty Annie (Alicia Morton) carries a song in her heart and hope in her locket — the only thing she has from her parents. One day, fed up with the dastardly Miss Hannigan (Kathy Bates), Annie escapes the run-down orphanage determined to find her mom and dad. Her adventure takes her from the cold, mean streets of New York to the warm, comforting arms of bighearted billionaire Oliver Warbucks (Victor Garber) — with plenty of mischief in between! I do not own this. No copyright infringement intended.

You all sound good but I hope this is not just one of many American NGOs who main hidden objective is to manipulate Haiti politically & economically. Yes the Haitians & Haiti needs help but above all Haiti needs to be treated fairly and respectably. We, Haitians, are not dumb nor backward, I hope you all know that it was the US in the first place since 1804 that have been determined that Haiti never stands up as a proud & free independent African Nation. Haiti is the true land of liberty!

Freaking love this movie
My sister when they had additions somewhere she tried out but didn’t make it. Witch sucks but oh well. Every time I watch this movie I think of how creepy it be if my sister got the part! Oh well. I FREAKING
I Actually like both Annie’s they both bring a different way into the movie like the 1982 version was more of its own it had the fourth of july and different songs it was based on a different view which is good and face it the girl was adorable the one who played annie where as in this one its more based on the musical the play and its more of a comedy where as the other one had a slighty darker tone and alicia morton can sing no doubt so can aileen quinn so to me none are better they are great
@CheetahSpots2468357 Her hair is read though in this one
