Saviour Machine’s lead singer and writer portrays Satan in this musically dynamic, slightly disturbing cut from their DVD Live in Deutschland 2002. Great middle eastern sounding guitar lines abound in this piece. The DVD package contains two discs: the 2002 concert (where Saviour Machine was actually the concluding act in a long festival [if it seems there's a larger audience than would be expected for a cult band of this sort]), and the original Saviour Machine Live in Deutschland 1995 concert. Eric Clayton is the singer, writer, and creative director of Saviour Machine. Nathan Van Hala on keyboards had played on the final Shadow Project album, with Rozz Williams and Eva O of Christian Death. Carl Johan Grimmark on guitar is the guitarist and singer of Narnia. Fans of Christian Death, Rozz Williams, Eva O, Narnia, and gothic/symphonic metal bands such as Therion, My Dying Bride, Tristania, Orphanage, Penumbra, etc. are invited to check out this Saviour Machine video, as they may find they like it!
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Sally Hurst (Bailee Madison), a lonely, withdrawn child, has just arrived in Rhode Island to live with her father Alex (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend Kim (Katie Holmes) at the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the sprawling estate, the young girl discovers a hidden basement, undisturbed since the strange disappearance of the mansion’s builder a century ago. When Sally unwittingly lets loose a race of ancient, dark-dwelling creatures who conspire to drag her down into the mysterious house’s bottomless depths, she must convince Alex and Kim that it’s not a fantasy—before the evil lurking in the dark consumes them all.

Saviour Machine’s imagery of Lucifer reminds me of the origins of the title of “the adversary”. Great video, enjoyable!

The ever changing hypocritical foulness of christianitys stench vomits out more loathsome repugnance every conscience second. These are not Goths, they are putrescent light pestilence wrapped in Dark clothing. FRAUDS!

True. Well at least unlike LeHay they get the order of the scripture right. Puting the Rapture right at the end of Legend. LeHay seems to place it at the start. (I don’t take revelation literaly so I guess I can’t really comment).
