This organisation provide shelter, education, food, clothing and basic education to children in the Swedru Area. Their goal is to ensure that all children have to chance to a happy and healthy upbringing. Christ Outreach Orphanage is in desperate need of volunteers. Currently there are 57 children who are registered with the orphanage and only two full-time workers. Although they have a few community volunteers that come to assist they are definately short staffed.Volunteers can assist by doing following tasks:- Volunteers will be needed to help wash, feed and care for the children. There is also a small school set up at the orphange where volunteers can teach various subjects and implement educational games. Volunteers are needed to help create a cirriculium for the teachers at the orphange.

Swedru is a small attractive town situated 20 km away from the coastline of Ghana and is the district capital of the Agona region. While strolling down the winding pathways of Swedru, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of this city. The palm trees, lush vegetation and elaborate markets entice many visitors to stay more than just one night.

 Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school.
