Adoption Feedback: hahahahahah! is this a serious question? ive never heard of anyone adopting from kazakhstan? well if your fo rural, more power to you i guess? ;p
Adoption Feedback: I researched Kaz. before I adopted from Guatemala. I believe it’s Kaz. that mentioned the children could have problems relating to radiation exposure… I’m not sure they’re accepting applications right now.
Adoption Feedback: I believe Kazakhstan is on hold or closed now.
Adoption Feedback: My agency facilitates adoptions from Kazakhstan and they are still very much open, though I am in Canada, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I adopted from China, however, the families that I have met that adopted from Kaz have had nothing but wonderful things to say. The only negative I have heard is that there are limited translators, as well as a lengthy in country stay of about 2 months.
Good luck!!!
Adoption Feedback: The con is that the child will lose his or her entire culture, heritage, language, etc. on TOP of losing his or her family.
Or perhaps you’d be willing to sacrifice everything and MOVE to Kazakhstan, for the benefit of the child?
No?
I didn’t think so.
