Considering Adopting from China, why not look into Special Needs. It’s not as scary as you may think. In this video you can see some of the Special Needs that children have that are manageable and stories from those that have adopted the Waiting Child.

China Little Flower

These are videos from my trip to China through Lifeworks. We worked with four types of kids at the orphanage. There were the premmies (1), who became ex-premmeis (2), club feet club (3) and the hospice babies (4). The hospice babies were all kids that suffered from terminal disabilities. All the names are nicknames given by both us or the staff. Some of these kids have left the China Little Flower orphanage to return to their original orphanages and will be put up for adoption. These are the most amazing kids I have ever known. For more info on both programs, visit the links at the end. Specific questions can be asked here or messaged to me. Adopting Katelin from China

Our adoption of Katelin from China

Three women’s lives share a common core: they have all been profoundly affected by adoption. KAREN (Annette Bening) had a baby at 14, gave her up at birth, and has been haunted ever since by the daughter she never knew. ELIZABETH (Naomi Watts) grew up as an adopted child; she’s a bright and ambitious lawyer, but a flinty loner in her personal life. LUCY (Kerry Washington) is just embarking with her husband on the adoption odyssey, looking for a baby to become their own. Courtesy of Sony Pictures Classics
