My husband and I have been truly blessed in our lives. We are both fairly young, he is 26 and I am 21 but we are interested in looking into foster parenting within the next few years. He is currently in the military and unlike many military families, he doesn’t have to bounce around much. I’d love to know what some peoples experiences with foster care are and what might help us make a final decision on whether or not this is for us.

My point is that MANY people do not even think about or KNOW about adopting kids through foster care…so the option is not even considered because people DON’T KNOW.
