@billottte You have one smart mother best point any one has made

  2. billottte on July 28th, 2010 6:29 am

I think this falls under the same category of why there is no “Kid Day”. When I was about seven years old, I asked my mother why there was no “Kid Day”–I mean there is a Mother’s Day and a Father’s Day. She said that it is because every day is Kid Day, no special designation needed. In our culture, everything is sort of about encouraging “Straight Pride” and thus no need for a tee-shirt. I would say the people in charge really don’t need any affirmation…they already are, well, in charge.

This just shows how desperate the so-called “Tea Party” movement has become..The ONLY way they can stir up members is to fall back on the old FEAR program used by the Bush regime… If you have absolutely NOTHING productive to say, them scare them into submission… It would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.. America’s NEW KKK!!!

@VivaLaFro123 why is it wrong to be proud of any part of yourself?

  5. VivaLaFro123 on July 28th, 2010 8:09 am

I think needing to be proud of your sexual orientation is immature. I don’t care if you’re straight, gay, whatever.

  6. BrownBrother27 on July 28th, 2010 9:01 am

I agree with Bryan, my apologies Jay
    Straight Pride = Epic Fail
LGBTQ people don’t have the dignity and respect under the law at par w/ straights with birth junk and follows gender norms. Sadly, this came from my native state Michigan. I still refer it as the “Northernmost Hypersocially Conservative State NOT Belonging to the Bible Belt” I don’t hate my state completely, but it has taken a step back for its LGBT residents. For the record unfortunately, there are LGBT active in the Tea Party.

  11. amdsoccer94 on July 28th, 2010 11:41 am

@depfox how am i a closet case? i dont have to prove shit.

  12. depfox on July 28th, 2010 12:26 pm

@amdsoccer94 LOL my guess if you have to say fags then you are really a closet case….I sugest you leave the straight pride shirts for real men who are proud of being straight and dont have to prove it.

  13. amdsoccer94 on July 28th, 2010 12:54 pm

woo straight pride!!!! yeah i like pussy and hate fags!!

  14. NEXPAR on July 28th, 2010 1:38 pm

but being barred from voting did not make any sense. While the concept gay-marriages is crazy and being hated over sexual preference is wrong. Being denied a job over it is wrong, being denied housing over it is wrong.

Anyway, the Straight Pride as it is, is a satire and should be seen as such and not a threat. As I said, straight people are not the ones being oppressed over their sexual orientation.

  15. NEXPAR on July 28th, 2010 2:11 pm

I don’t think “Straight Pride” shirts should seem offensive. It’s sort of funny though because straight people have never been oppressed over their sexual preferences in the many fronts as gays have. Gay Pride and Gay Rights would have never seen the light of day had it not been for all the oppression gay people have experienced in the social, political and religious areas. While being gay is considered sinful, so it stealing and ripping people off. Being not accept in church is one thing

  16. bethdominix on July 28th, 2010 2:13 pm

i think this whole straight pride is stupid,i personally think there are more gays in any community but they havent just had come out yet.=)peace!

  17. CotaLax3o3 on July 28th, 2010 2:15 pm

If its a Pro-Straight anti gay website then how do fags find out about it?? LOL

  18. MsKimmova on July 28th, 2010 3:01 pm

  19. TheBIGJJR on July 28th, 2010 3:32 pm

    this is awesome

  20. mollypie10 on July 28th, 2010 4:10 pm

LOL that T-shirt is hilarious haha. love your videos and the ringtone :)

  21. depfox on July 28th, 2010 4:52 pm

@KapitalJustice I dont have a problem with any pride shirts no matter who they are about. I agree you should be able to walk down the street wearing your shirt. I think its more funny then anything. I think a lot of gay men are offended because of the intent behind the shirt. People making the shirts for the wrong reasons not to show pride but to put down gay people. As for saying you wouldnt want to be gay thats an opinion but an uneducated one.

  22. KapitalJustice on July 28th, 2010 5:26 pm

the protests, the bumper stickers, the festivals and shirts, they get excessive. i think its fine as a straight man that i wear a straight pride tshirt, why cant i be proud of that? theres nothing wrong with being gay but i wouldnt want to be so why cant i be proud of that?

  23. Plato86 on July 28th, 2010 5:53 pm

Why is the Tea Party getting involved in social issues when they supposely only care about economics? The truth is that some elements of the t.p are not interested in small gov or the constitution by right wing bullshit.

  24. wolflover098 on July 28th, 2010 6:46 pm

i think it all depends on your situation, and the reason you are wearing it. in my life, i have been made to feel inferior and boring because i am straight. it has actually been a challenge for me to be proud of the way i am, heterosexual. so yeah i think it just depends on the reason you are wearing it. but i probably wouldnt wear that kind of tshirt anyways

  25. SethKlan on July 28th, 2010 7:24 pm

I agree with Jay. Confront str8s with mind sets that are in reverse. Random questions that turn the tables, “How long have you known you are str8, and have you told your parents?” “What was your mom’s reaction when she found out you were straight.” “Since you are straight, do you know Mel Gibson?” “Are you attracted to all women?” “Did you ever think that maybe if you met the right guy, you might not be str8.” “Are you worried what effect being str8 might have on your gay son?”
