@GilbertGrape78 Children are an extension of yourself: most people find comfort in the idea that their legacy lives on when they die. You can’t find that too hard to believe: I think all of us, in some ways, want to be memorializes. If not for what we did, then for what our “spawn” do. Adopted kids are no different in this regard: you raise them as your own.
Why would anyone want to adopt a kid. I mean, I’m about to get a vasectomy so I don’t end up with my own kid. Why you would want someone elses unwanted spawn is beyond my comprehension.

And on another note I don’t blame the Russians for having the attitudes that they have. You need to really do your RESEARCH on the children from Russia… go and spend time there and get to know some of these kids and look into their background with a fine tooth comb before you plan to take them home with you to the states..
So this one woman has ruined the other chances of other mothers who wants to adopt children of other races… She needs to bring proof of what she is claiming this child has done…I don’t believe anything until I SEE it…

Some have been extremely violent threatening her family with knives and fire. Of course not all of the children are like this but a staggering number are. It’s also not uncommon for care providers to be lied to about the child’s condition. I think this woman could have gone about it in a better way but I will not judge until I know more of exactly what was going on in that house. It just makes you wonder what these kids have gone through to make them this way. It’s truly heartbreaking.
This is such a sad story. I have a friend that cares for foster children and unfortunately, I have seen some pretty scary things. It’s so sad but some of these children are so scarred that they truly are a danger. Example: She had a 9 year old little girl that was trying to have sex with her husband. This problem escalated to where the little would take her pants off and masturbate in front of him. You just can’t have that happening in your home. This is just one example of what I have seen.
The question is where do you ship your own biological kids when the warranty runs out.
Do you wait before he’s stuck your child’s hand on the stove? Or threatened you with a knife? Or hit you? Or stolen your car keys? How can you sit there and feel safe with a lunatic child that could flip on you at any moment?

@r2d23678 well, it depends on wich company you choose, here in québec we have bell satellite, videotron cable tv or starchoice via satellite, i have bell i have nbc, cbs, all the major channels, but videotron don’t have it. but during the adds they put canadians advertisements, except when it’s channel adds, like new series promo. i think the crtc is acting more with the cable, maybe too hard to control the satellite signal.
Wtf canada has a news station? I didn’t know they were that sophisticated.

@r2d23678 funny that no Canadians moves to the states unless they can make a lot of money there. But Americans move to Canada for a longer life and to keep their families safe from American streets, which are drug infested and full of viscious criminals that will kill you for your running shoes.
Now some older Canadians move to the States when they retire because it is warm in Florida and Arizona but they live in gated communities.
