Russia’s Foreign Ministry is calling for a suspension on the adoption of Russian children by Americans. This comes after a 7-year-old Russian boy Artyom Saveliev (????? ????????) was returned to Moscow alone, by his adoptive mother after just six months in the US
@tor370 Listen to your selves. Your BOTH being mean, rude, nasty and ignorant. Was it right for her to send him back to Russia? NO. Should she be tried for child abuse and neglect?YES Is right for them to close off adoptions in Russia to other Americans? NO, because there are good people who would love to have these children, and they are the majority. There are cruel people all over the world. The point is , regardless of the child’s place of origin, or issues he was abandoned by his mother!

They are going to love this woman in prison…
They are buying children like toys… For playing and personal use, not for parenthood, which requires work, sacrifise and devotion….
That’s just a bad parent and she should be investigated and put into a daily paper or something. They shouldn’t focus so much on her because now qualified people are going to look to other countries.
He was born dead, not to be confused with possessed by demons, and obviously had some adjustment issues; perhaps it was the change of lifestyle and culture and from a rough place to general affluence that caused the problem. It’s a kid. Pin him, not in control, no, and kind’of let the fits go on until all the possible buttons are pushed. Nothing is going to happen to him except he won’t get the approval that he should grow to want.
So while Russian Government focuses on this one child, they leave the other children on the street?
So many calls are now pouring in… hmm why didn’t it come before? Why does it take world wide media coverage of one incident to motivate people?

first of all i am not that old. Second of all, CHILDREN ARE NOT A MISTAKE!!! DO YOU REALIZE ALL OF THE TRAINING THAT A PERSON HAS TO TAKE BEFORE ADOPTING A CHILD?????- I WAS ADOPTED AND I HAVE BEEN IN SIMILAR EXPERIENCE. CHILDREN ARE NOT WALMART TOYS YOU CAN PUT ON LAY AWAY. SHE COULD HAVE EASILY PUT HIM IN A FOSTER HOME. YOU NEVER KNOW…HE COULD BE THE FUTURE SCIENTIST TO FIND A CURE FOR A DISEASE BUT THE LOSER MOTHER WOULD NEVER FIND OUT!!!!

Attention should also be on the airline that little boy was placed on. Did they not see the note on his chest? What kind of person puts a seven year old child on a transatlantic flight alone? He could have been kidnapped or lost! Maybe the woman who did this horrible thing should be placed on a transatlantic flight as well, a one way flight. What adoption agency approved her to adopt a child? So wrong! Good for the little man who made it back to Russia. He’s a champ!

Ok parents who adopt should be responsible, but they the kids sent out for adoption should be also be vetted by Russians. Remember that all the criminals in society used to be kids. If the kid threatens people or tries to set fire to the house, that might be some indication he is a future nightmare.

This is so heartless and cruel. For God sake if she didn’t want to be a mother she should have never adopted. Newsflash lady “parenting is HARD work!” She must be living in LaLa land if she thought it was going to be easy. If nothing else why didn’t she just call DCFS and surrender him to them. It happens all the time.
im born in russia and lived there first 20 years of my life. im not sure why russia is making a big deal about this. russian government does not give a fuck about the kids. type in search block something like “homeless russian street kids” and you will see what i mean. its no secret to any russian there are 5 year old kids sleeping in sewers under the city streets

this is funny cuz the Russians can’t get rid of their orphans fast enough! they could care less about this boy they really just dont want him back! If it stands that this lady gets away with this it worries the russian govt alot!

This is the strangest thing that I have ever heard about adoptions and in view of the fact that the Russian government doesn’t always seem to hold our government in the highest esteem I don’t really care if they stop the program.
What they need to realize and admit is while this lady was extremely callous, selfish and infantile. But she does not have the corner on the cray meter. If my memory serves me well there are people who are cruel and miserable world wide.
