Good movie but the camera tricks are incredibly distracting. I don’t dig the MTV style cinematography.

OMG that’s the only scene I ever remembered too!
There was also a bit with a circular saw, but I looked away at that bit.

I haven’t seen or heard of this movie since I was a kid. All I ever remembered was that Thomas Jane was in it. Before I even knew who Thomas Jane was…. and that it was titled Thursday. When that girl ties him to the chair and rapes him, that’s the moment that stood out for me all these years and remember it. I agree with the statement that this is a lot like something Quentin Tarantino would do, but….. I haven’t seen it in years, no rental stores carry it. I’ve looked.

Does anyone know the song in the scene Nick driving Caseys car and get called the first time from Casey? I’m looking for that for several months and didn’t find it.

Crazy fuckin’ movie. Sort of like some Tarantino type shit, really. A classis. I own it on DVD. Kind of rare, though. You might pay a little for a movie that was a flop at the box office.

Amazon. I saw this shit when it came out on DVD a long time ago at Blockbuster, shit’s crazy, if you like this clip, this will soon be a favorite.

Yeah, it definitely shares the same stylistic as Pulp Fiction. Cruel, realistic and funny.
Both films are peace of art, hope to see Reservoir dogs soon.

  23. srfup on September 9th, 2010 3:21 am

One critic wrote that Skip Woods, got his inspiration for some scenes in Thursday from both “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction.” I I thought Thursday was on par with both of those films or for that matter, any early Tarantino work. If you liked Thursday, rent “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction.” Then come back and comment on the comparison. I’d also be curious to know how you found this you tube video–were you searching for it or did you spot it in “videos being watched right now?”
